It's been a busy sporting term with a return of our popular netball club, gym club and a number of football fixtures. Year 7 battled against a strong Woolmer Hill team, Year 8 came back from 2 down to win 3-2 and Year 9 also beat Glebelands 3-1 in difficult conditions. pic.twitter.com/3jEIDt5Dyr— Kings College () October 26, 2024

Tillingbourne Junior School has joined the trust!

16th October 2023

Learning Partners are proud to announce that they are now a family of 14 schools.  Tillingbourne Junior School is the latest addition and the team at the trust couldn’t be happier!  Two further schools are set to join this academic year and a new specialist maths school will become part of the family in September 2024.

Jack Mayhew, CEO of Learning Partners Academy Trust said “We are delighted that Tillingbourne has joined our community of schools.  We worked with all staff at the school extensively last academic year, and we have made great strides in forming strong relationships and a united approach to working together to lead schools where children thrive.”

Ben Stevenson, Headteacher of Tillingbourne Junior School said “Joining Learning Partners Academy Trust is a natural progression for us, having benefitted last year from the trust’s comprehensive school improvement programme and the strong networks available to all staff. This is a really positive, exciting move for our school, and I am very confident that this collaboration will improve outcomes for all of our children.”

Tillingbourne Junior School provides a high-quality learning environment in an ideal setting amongst the beautiful Surrey Hills, an environment in which all children can learn and thrive.  The fantastic grounds allow sports and environmental science subjects to play a key role at Tillingbourne with large well-maintained sports fields and a frequently visited and much beloved environmental woodland area.  Creativity is nurtured in classrooms dedicated to art, music and food technology; productions are performed on a full-sized stage, and a love of reading is developed through a fully stocked library. The team of dedicated staff at Tillingbourne are professional and committed to ensuring that the school offers an exciting, hands-on curriculum, designed to meet every child’s needs.  They take great pride witnessing their pupils move on from this delightful setting as positive and enthusiastic learners.

All the schools within Learning Partners Academy Trust wholeheartedly embrace the educational qualities of learning and partnership. The trust’s mission is to create a love of learning in the lives of students and to encourage partnership and collaboration. Its values of ambition, collaboration, inspiration, innovation and integrity are a collective cornerstone to motivate staff and students and are key to delivering the best educational experience to every child.

Learning Partners Academy Trust believes in driving up educational standards and raising targets through collaborative school-to-school support.
