It's been a busy sporting term with a return of our popular netball club, gym club and a number of football fixtures. Year 7 battled against a strong Woolmer Hill team, Year 8 came back from 2 down to win 3-2 and Year 9 also beat Glebelands 3-1 in difficult conditions. pic.twitter.com/3jEIDt5Dyr— Kings College () October 26, 2024

Bringing values to life

17th October 2024

On World Values Day, we are reminded of the power values have in shaping not only individual lives but entire communities. At Learning Partners Academy Trust, we are guided by a set of values that not only define who we are but hopefully inspire everything we do.

Our value of "Ambition for all" reminds us to strive for success, not just for ourselves but for every member of our community. It reminds us to ensure we are lifting others up and allowing everyone - students, colleagues, and families - to reach their full potential.

"Better together" emphasises the strength of collaboration. Whether within our schools, across our trust, or with the wider community, we achieve more when we work in partnership and value the diverse perspectives each person brings.

With "Learning that inspires", we aim to ignite curiosity and passion in both teaching and learning. Our goal is to create an environment where learning is engaging, innovative, and relevant to the real world, encouraging lifelong learning in both students and colleagues.

Being "Brave innovators" challenges us to step out of our comfort zones and seek new ways of improving and growing. We should embrace change, and not be afraid to pioneer new ideas that benefit our community.

Finally, "Guided by Integrity" is at the heart of all we do. Honesty, transparency, and ethical decision-making should always come first, that way we remain trustworthy and dependable in our relationships with others.

As we celebrate World Values Day, let’s ensure we remember these principles in our daily actions and live and lead by them in everything we do.

Happy World Values Day!
